Bill always wanted to be a coach but was encouraged to choose a more predictable career. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 1986 and went to work as an engineer. He quickly realized that the skills required to be a successful engineer had a lot of overlap with the skills required to be an effective coach.
He joined WGK shortly after the firm was founded in 1991.
As a Professional Engineer and WGK’s Quality Engineering Principal, Bill enjoys orchestrating all the pieces from people to plans that get winning results for clients. He is the primary site preparation specialist at the firm and shows up everyday on a mission to help clients get what they want and deserve so they can grow their businesses and communities.
That work has led him to manage some of the largest and most complex groundwork projects in the firm’s portfolio. Bill also serves as the City Engineer for WGK’s hometown, the City of Clinton.
Bill and his wife Sara have two sons.
